Hello!

I'm George, a Narrative Designer, artist and game developer from Perth, Australia!

 About me

Background

I have a bachelor's degree in Creative Writing, and I am currently completing my bachelor's in Game Development!

I have always had a love for storytelling and video games, and the way that games can tell incredible stories in such unique ways was one of many reasons I decided game development was the path I needed to follow.

Skills

I have experience with a variety of creative and technical tools for writing, art and game development. Some of my skills include: writing tools such as Scrivener and Obsidian;  Adobe Creative Cloud tools such as Photoshop, After Effects, Substance Painter and Premiere Pro; and game development tools such as Unity and GitHub.

Experience

As a game developer currently pursuing my education, I have a solid foundation in game design, programming, asset production and project management. I bring a strong focus with additional experience in narrative design, creating engaging storylines in both gaming and non-gaming experiences.

Projects Overview

Each round, one player acts as the Boss, and will read out customer orders. All other players must choose 3 cards from their hand to make the perfect sandwich, then pitch it to the Boss!

The game explores his first five days in his new surroundings as he navigates through his day to day struggles. Spectrum of Starlight was a solo project for my "meaningful games" studio unit in university, with a 13 week development cycle.

My main focus on this game was the narrative and the art although each aspect was made by myself including:
